About
PackTheLook started with a trip to Japan: there were thousands of clothes online, but nothing that said what actually suits Japan in that month — the weather, the temples, the walking.
Each guide combines typical monthly weather, local dress norms and a practical outfit list. Shop links open Amazon in your country (India, US or UK), filtered to the kind of item we recommend, so you can pick the exact piece, size and price yourself.
Where the facts come from
Highs, lows and rainy days are long-term monthly averages (mostly the 1991–2020 climate normals) for one weather station per destination, taken from the climate tables on Wikipedia, which cite national weather services such as the Japan Meteorological Agency, Météo-France and the UK Met Office. Every month page names its station and links the source. Averages are not forecasts, so check one closer to your trip.
Festival and event dates are typical. Many follow lunar or religious calendars and move every year, so confirm the official dates before you book. Dress-code advice comes from official site rules (the Vatican, the Grand Palace, mosques) and local norms.
